The School of Entrepreneurship ("SOE," "we," "our," or "us") is a division of Contractor Nation, located at 33 Progress Ave, Seymour, CT 06483. We operate the website soebluecollar.org (the "Site") and our mobile learning application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you visit our Site, use our App, or enroll in our programs.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Information You Provide Directly

Full name, email address, phone number, and mailing address when you submit an enrollment form, request information, schedule a call, or contact us. For enrolled students: academic progress data, assessment results, and program participation records within our learning platform. For parents or guardians of minor students: name, email address, phone number, and relationship to the student. For sponsorship applicants: business name, contact information, and sponsorship details.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our Site, we may automatically collect: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, time spent on pages, and click patterns. We collect this data through cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies. We use Vercel Analytics for privacy-friendly traffic analysis. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Information from Third Parties

We may receive information from our enrollment platform provider (GoHighLevel) when you submit forms on our Site.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to: process enrollment applications and manage student accounts; deliver curriculum content through our learning platform; communicate with students, parents, and guardians about program progress, events, and updates; schedule and conduct coaching calls and advising sessions; respond to inquiries and provide support; improve our Site, App, and programs; comply with legal obligations; and for internal analytics to understand how our programs are used.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. Ever.

4. How We Share Your Information

We may share your information with: Contractor Nation (our parent organization) for program administration; service providers who assist us in operating our Site and programs (such as our hosting provider Vercel, our enrollment platform GoHighLevel, and our email service provider), each bound by contractual obligations to protect your data; sponsoring businesses, only if you have applied for and been accepted into a sponsorship program, and only the information necessary to administer the sponsorship; and law enforcement or government authorities when required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our students and staff.

5. Students Under 18

SOE welcomes students ages 15 and up. For students under 18, we require parental or guardian consent before enrollment. We collect only the information necessary to provide our educational services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information promptly. 6. Cookies and Tracking

Our Site uses the following types of cookies:

Essential Cookies: Required for Site functionality, such as maintaining your session and security. These cannot be disabled.

Analytics Cookies: We use Vercel Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service that does not use cookies for tracking and does not collect personally identifiable information. It provides aggregate data about page views, referrers, and visitor geography.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling non-essential cookies will not affect your ability to use our Site.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy: for enrolled students, we retain records for the duration of enrollment plus seven (7) years after program completion for academic record-keeping; for prospective students who inquire but do not enroll, we retain contact information for up to two (2) years; and for general Site visitors, automatically collected data is retained in aggregate form.

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information. Our Site is served over HTTPS with TLS encryption. Our hosting provider (Vercel) and DNS provider (Cloudflare) maintain enterprise-grade security infrastructure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information: the right to access the personal information we hold about you; the right to request correction of inaccurate information; the right to request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention requirements); the right to opt out of marketing communications at any time; and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Connecticut Residents (CTDPA): Connecticut residents have additional rights under the Connecticut Data Privacy Act, including the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of personal data, and the right to opt out of the processing of personal data for targeted advertising.
