The Leadership and Business Training Trades Companies Have Been Missing.
SOE prepares young people for the management and business roles that help trades companies run, grow, and continue into the next generation.
Skilled Work Builds the Trade. Skilled Leadership Builds the Business Around It.
The trades are the backbone of this country. But for too long, the path forward has been limited. Technical education prepares people to perform the work — but management and ownership have too often been learned by trial and error. There was no structured training to help young people move from doing the work to leading the people who do it.
The SOE Trades Leadership Program was created to fill that gap. We train young professionals to think like owners, lead like managers, and build careers that last. SOE can complement college, trade school, or job-based learning — depending on the future a student is building.
Our mission: Improving the Lives of tomorrow's leaders today — by helping each young person find the role that fits, learn the business skills behind it, and take on meaningful responsibility.

Great Leaders Aren't Born. They're Developed.
Leadership is a skill, and like any skill, it can be taught. At SOE, we believe that the biggest opportunity in the trades today isn't just the work itself. It's the people who learn to lead the work.
Every module, every coaching session, every community interaction in our program is designed to develop the mindset, skills, and habits of effective leadership. From managing a team to running a company, we prepare you for the roles that matter most.
Common Questions
Does a student need trade experience first?
No. No technical trade experience is required to begin SOE's management or ownership learning. Students build business-side skills first, then learn how the operation works from experienced technical professionals on the job. Licensed or safety-sensitive work still requires the training, supervision, or credentials it calls for.
Does SOE replace college or trade school?
No. SOE focuses on leadership, business understanding, professional habits, and role fit. A student can use it alongside college, technical education, or job-based learning — the leadership layer those paths were missing.
